Adventures with SJ: traveling to England

3 min read

In March this year Edd started a job for which he has to travel to England quite regularly. This time round, SJ and I accompanied him on his journey to spend some time seeing friends and family while he is working.

Here are some impressions from our journey!

SJ was an absolute trooper. It was a super busy day! We had to get up at 4am, got a lift to the airport, got on the plane and flew to London.

From there Edd’s dad picked us up. From his house we drove to some of our friends for a coffee, and then picked up Edd’s mum. After a quick stop at Tesco’s we drove on to Edd’s sister’s house where we spent the afternoon.

We had Pizzas, a BBQ and walked to a playground. SJ hang with her aunts, grandparents and great-grandparents – a big audience for our little performer!

After dinner we got back into the car to drive all the way up North, to Lancaster. SJ fell asleep quickly but didn’t sleep well… we had to stop twice because she was screaming so much and didn’t calm down… after the most exhausting car journey of our lives we finally arrived at 1:40 am!

Today we are having a chilled day in Lancaster seeing friends and showing SJ this beautiful place where Edd and I first met. I am so grateful to be here.
