Spring is coming.

3 min read

Spring is my FAVOURITE season. For me, it is the embodiment of hope. It is such a vivid image of God’s resurrection work. All this stuff that looked so dead and bleak and grey is suddenly bursting with life.

While nature is waking up from its winter slumber I always feel like I am coming back to life, too. I am bursting with ideas. I feel this buzzing in my bones. Don’t get me wrong I am still pretty sleep-deprived but I am buzzing with creative energy.

I want to bake and clean and write and sew. We made it through another winter! I cannot help but wanting to celebrate. Just being alive seems like such a miracle and gift.

I just enjoy this season so much. I love hearing the birds sing. On my ways from picking up SJ from nursery I stop so many times to just inhale the scent of the trees. And to take photos. My camera roll is full of trees in bloom. There is this magnolia tree on our route and it is EVERYTHING. So so beautiful. (Sorry for all the caps. I am just veeery excited about spring).

Sharing the springtime joy.

So, today I am just going to share some of my springtime joy in the form of the many pictures of trees and flowers I have taken in the last week. I hope they make you smile as much as me.

This is Day 31 of my 100 Day Project. You can learn more about my 100 day project by reading this post. If you want to do your own 100 day Project, I would recommend checking out the 100 Day Project website.
