In my last post I asked you what creative projects you are currently working on. In this post I am showing you some of my current endeavours! Now the colder seasons have commenced it is high time for all things crafty. Nothing better than to put on an audio book or some relaxed music and dive into some creative projects. Here’s a little round-up of what I have been up to lately.

Photography
For my birthday in September I got a DSLR camera and I am in love with it. I am still fairly confused by most of the different settings but I am eager to learn how to take good pictures. The shorter days are not necessarily ideal for photography but I try and make the most of daylight hours. The pictures below I took whilst we were in North Cumbria last weekend and I am quite happy with how they turned out. I am looking forward to take some more photography walks and to maybe also dive in to snapping more pictures of people. I share a picture everyday over on my Instagram if you would like to see more!

Knitting
Whilst I was studying for my exams I ordered a pattern and wool from We are Knitters. It was great to have something to look forward to once my exams were over! I just finished my Bossa Nova Sweater yesterday and I am so happy with how it turned out!
I am in love with the feel and colour of the wool. The pattern was really well explained and easy to follow. I will definitely get some more patterns from this brand for some future projects.

Lettering
I am a bit obsessed with watching these videos on Instagram of people doing calligraphy and Bible Journaling and so I decided I needed to try this out myself. I bought some watercolour pens and got some of Edd’s old art supplies from the back of the cupboard and started to practice a bit. It’s so therapeutic and satisfying. Definitely a skill I want to develop further!

Cross-stitching
My mum gave me this little cross-stitching kit in the summer. I have done some cross-stitching before but never finished a bigger project, so I am determined to stick with this one. I am not very experienced in this craft, so probably need to watch a few more YouTube videos for some tips and tricks. Let me know, if you have any recommendations for some tutorials!
