So, I am now one quarter through my 100 day project! When I first started my aim was to write on most days over the coming 100 days. I did not expect that I would manage to achieve 25 days of daily blogging.
25 days of daily blogging – how it has been
So what has this journey been like so far?
Surprisingly smooth. There were days where it was hard to cram in the writing and I sat in front of my laptop until late into the night. There were also days where I didn’t feel like writing. But once I had overcome that inner resistance and started to type I often ended up enjoying myself the most.
Right now, I am at this sweet spot where I am still very motivated – we’re still in the beginning of the project! – but also can make use of the fact that writing has become a habit. It’s not something I forget to do, because I do it every day. My eyes and mind constantly scan my surroundings for ideas.
My favourite part right now
My favourite part of these 25 days of daily blogging has been to keep hold of thoughts and ideas. I often debate or preach or write in my head, but normally these notions get lost. Now, I ruminate and ponder and think things through.
It’s satisfying but also really good for my head. My thoughts feel much more ordered and I feel happier and much less frantic.
The next 25 days of blogging
The challenge now is to keep going! Yesterday I shared about all my different hobbies and how much I sometimes struggle to not get distracted by the next thing.
I really want to keep going with posting daily.
Sometimes I worry I might run out of ideas of things to write about. So, if you have any topics you would like to hear my thoughts on, please let me know.
