After sharing how I fared with my goals for 2024 it’s now time to set some goals for the coming year!
If you are interested, I have a whole post on my goal setting process here.
Goals for 2025
Faith + Spirituality
Over the last three months I followed the Bible Recap’s chronological plan through the New Testament. I listened to the text on the Dwell app and then to the accompanying podcast episode. It was so good!
Also, I followed along with the Sermon on the Mount study by Bible Project, which was life-changing for me. (I talked a bit more about this here).
So my goals are:
- Read through the Bible chronologically with the Bible Recap
- Follow along with the Bible Project studies
- Complete one class by the Bible Project
Marriage + Parenting
- One date night per month
- Read one parenting book
Blogging
I will be boring and do the same as last year. To be honest, my dream would be to post every week, however, that’s quite a leap from what I managed to do lately.
- So, we’ll stick with at least one post every month!
Health + Fitness
I used to join a 30 day yoga challenge during January a couple of times and absolutely loved it. I really enjoy Yoga and miss practicing it, especially in such a regular way.
In my experience, key to success with new habits is to start small!
- So, my goal for this January is to do one round of sun salutations every day. Maybe on some days that will develop into a longer practice, maybe it won’t. But I will have taken 2 minutes to breathe and stretch my body.
Learning + Reading
I am super excited to read right now and make good progress on my Read Your Shelf project. Which means I am hoping to read loads!
- My reading goal for 2025 is to read 50 books.
Hobbies + Creativity
My favourite category, haha! There is always so much to make and create!
- Sew one garment
- Sew a quilted bag from leftover scraps
- Finish my Copenhagen cardigan
- Finis SJs little Tulip jumper
- Audit all the sewing and knitting patterns and materials I have and create a spreadsheet similar to the one for all my books.ff
What are your goals for the next year?
This post is day 6 of my 12 days of blogmas challenge. Read more here.
